Smashing Pumpkins Coming To London

One of the biggest rock acts of the 1990s is bringing its reunion tour to London.

Budweiser Gardens announced Wednesday that Smashing Pumpkins will play the arena on August 9. The band is adding the London date to its Shiny And Oh So Bright Tour, which is reuniting original members Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin, and James Iha. Bassist D'Arcy Wretzky is not part of the tour.

The 39-city tour will kick off in Glendale, AZ on July 12, 2018 and visit North American arenas throughout the summer.

"The monumental tour, which coincides with the 30th anniversary of the band’s formation, will highlight music from the group’s inception through 2000, and will exclusively feature material from their groundbreaking debut Gish through Siamese Dream, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Adore, and Machina," a news release issued Wednesday says.

Tickets for the London show go on sale this Monday will be available online at www.budweisergardens.com, by phone at 1-866-455-2849. Tickets will also be available in person at the Courtesy Ford Box Office at Budweiser Gardens, BooksPlus, and the Fanshawe College Biz Booth.
