Lightning Quell The Hurricanes In Game 3

The London Lightning topped the Halifax Hurricanes 110-100 in Game 3 of the NBLC finals on Thursday.

London scored a 27-24 lead after the first quarter and remained in the lead throughout the second to hold a six-point advantage heading into halftime.  Halifax continued to trail the Lightning 81-78 in the third frame, and London held the lead throughout the fourth to ensure the win.

Garrett Williamson led London with a game-high 27 points and ten assists. Kirk Williams Jr. also put up 18 points and had six rebounds, while Julian Boyd added 17 points and 15 rebounds.

The Hurricanes lead the best-of-seven series 2-1

The team teams return to Budweiser Gardens in London on Saturday for Game 4. Tip-off is at 7pm.
