Suspect Sought In Child Abduction

London police are asking the public for help in finding a vehicle used in a child abduction.

Police say a four-year-old was taken from Barker St. and Melsandra Ave., near Ed Blake Park in north London around 9:15am Sunday.

The child was forced into a beige-coloured vehicle, with an image of it taken by a surveillance camera.

Witnesses were able to follow the vehicle and the child was released a short time later. The child was not physically hurt.

The suspect is described as an older male. The vehicle is a gold or beige-coloured Chevrolet Impala sedan.

Police are asking for help in identifying the vehicle. The investigation has been turned over to the Criminal Investigation Division.
