Minivan Hits School Bus Near Strathroy

Middlesex OPP say three people are being treated for minor injuries after a minivan hit a school bus just outside of Strathroy Wednesday morning.

Constable Max Gomez says according to the initial investigation, a school bus carrying about eight high school students was stopped near the intersection of Calvert Dr. and Springfield Rd. at around 7:40am Wednesday when it was rear-ended by a minivan carrying multiple passengers.

The woman who was driving the minivan is charged with careless driving.

Police say the bus driver and two of the students who were on board at the time were taken to the hospital as a precaution with what are believed to be minor injuries.

No one inside the minivan reported any injuries to police.
