Dog Assault Suspect Surrenders

The man wanted on a charge related to a brutal assault on a dog has turned himself in.

London police announced Thursday morning that Kyle Langford surrendered to authorities earlier in the day. The 28-year-old was the subject of an arrest warrant on a charge of willfully causing unnecessary pain to an animal.

The charge stemmed from an incident last week, in which a man was seen punching and kicking a dog outside a home in the area of Clarke Rd. and Wavell St. The attack was captured on surveillance video.

Langford is expected to appear in court on Thursday.
