Vehicles Damaged By Rocks Thrown From Bridge

St. Thomas police are investigating after two vehicles, including a motorcycle, were hit by rocks thrown from a train bridge.

A motorcyclist called police after being hit while driving on the Hwy. 3 bypass near the Barwick St. railway overpass around 6:30pm on Monday. The motorcyclist's helmet was damaged by the falling rocks.

Witnesses reported seeing two teenagers running from the area, but officers were unable to locate any suspects.

Roughly three and a half hours later, police were called about a second incident of rocks being thrown from the train bridge. A passing vehicle's windshield was smashed by the rocks.

Police again searched the area but came up empty.

The suspects are described as a girl with purple hair and a backpack and a boy with an orange sweater.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
