Hometown Hockey To Mark 100th Episode In London

Rogers Hometown Hockey is coming to London this fall.

The touring hockey festival will be in the Forest City with hosts Ron MacLean and Tara Sloane on October 20 and 21. The visit will mark the annual coast-to-coast hockey tour's 100th episode.

London was one of five recently announced communities selected, where special milestones will be celebrated during the 2018-19 season. Hometown Hockey launched its inaugural season in London in 2014.

“In Canada, our deep hockey roots extend from coast-to-coast and keep our communities intrinsically connected,” said MacLean. “Beginning with celebrating milestones in these five communities, we have the privilege of a fifth season of uncovering the great hockey tales of our past, celebrating the hockey victories of our present and meeting the hockey stars of our future.”

Hometown Hockey will kicked off in Kitchener October 5-7 and will make stops in 25 different communities.

Tour details, including the full schedule and the broadcast matchups, will be announced later this summer.
