Elgin OPP were called to the crash on Dexter Line around 11pm Sunday.
The unidentified man who was driving the motorcycle was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries. The deer was killed in the collision.
OPP technical collision investigators were on scene for roughly six hours. The road was reopened around 5am on Monday.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
