Park Arson Causes $50K Damage

London police are investigating a suspected arson at a city park that caused $50,000 damage.

Emergency crews were called to the South St. park after flames were spotted coming from the playground around 3am Wednesday.

The fire has been deemed suspicious and police are asking for the public's help. Anyone who may have witnessed anything strange in the area leading up to or after the fire is asked to call police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Police are also reminding Londoners to always report suspicious people and activity.
