UPDATE: Severe Thunderstorm Warning, Watch Ends

While Environment Canada was calling for some wild weather Wednesday afternoon, it has ended a severe thunderstorm warning for London-Middlesex, Elgin, and Oxford counties.

A severe thunderstorm watch was also issued for Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex as a cold front moved through the region. However, the national weather agency has ended that watch as well.

The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management recommends that anyone outdoors take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.

Any stormy weather is expected to be short-lived, as the forecast calls for sunshine to return Thursday.
