Tractor Driver Sought In Crash

Provincial police are trying to track down the driver of a tractor involved in a two-vehicle crash east of Tillsonburg.

A pickup truck was heading north on Middletown Line, near New Rd. in Norwich Township when it was hit by a turning, southbound tractor around 10:35pm Monday. The force of the collision sent the truck into the ditch. The tractor did not stop and continued south toward Niedert Line.

The male driver of the truck was treated for minor injuries.

Oxford OPP believe the driver of the tractor may not have been aware that his machine had been involved in a collision.

The make, model and colour of the tractor are not known, but police have said it may have been pulling either discs or a manure spreader at the time.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police at 1-800-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
