No Criminal Intent In Treat Handout

Concerned parents can breathe a sigh of relief after police tracked down the man spotted handing out treats to Aberdeen Public School children twice in the last week.

London police identified the man on Wednesday, a day after kids at the Grey St. school were given freezies by a stranger around the lunch hour. After speaking with the man, police have said there is "nothing to indicate any criminal intent on his part."

Police were first called to the school last Wednesday when a man was seen offering kids candy through a fence. While the act wasn't criminal it did send up red flags for school staff and parents.

The investigation into the incident is now closed, according to police. Parents are still being reminded to talk to their children about personal safety.
