One Dead In Crash Southwest Of London

One person is dead and two others were taken to hospital following a collision southwest of London.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Tuesday around 5:40pm, a 2010 silver Jeep travelling west collided with a 1997 black SUV travelling north at the intersection of Glendon Dr. and Thames Rd. in Appin.

Two people were taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries, while a third was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the person killed has not been released and police are currently notifying the next of kin.

Police say charges are pending following an investigation.

The intersection was closed while the OPP's technical collision investigators were at the scene. The roads have since been reopened.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
