Tanning Beds Focus Of Voyeurism Case

Provincial police are looking to speak to any women who used the tanning beds at an Ingersoll gym that is at the centre of a voyeurism investigation.

Oxford OPP say any woman who used the tanning beds at Target Zone Health & Fitness on Thames St. between January 2016 and May 17, 2018 could be a victim of voyeurism.

An investigation into the fitness centre was launched on May 17, after police received a voyeurism complaint. Few details surrounding the incident at the business have been released.

The gym's facilities manager, 48-year-old Walter Jason Peat, of Zorra Township, was arrested and charged with voyeurism. When contacted by BlackburnNews.com in May, Zone Health & Fitness confirmed Peat remained employed at the business.

Anyone who used the tanning beds at the facility or has information related to this case is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
