Police and Lambton EMS responded to the Port Blake Conservation Area around 9pm on Saturday after learning the girl had been pulled out of Lake Huron.
Despite efforts to save the child, she died in hospital on Monday.
The girl has been identified as 2-year-old Ayat Alkubet of London.
