High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

Charges are pending after a serious crash southwest of London Wednesday evening.
Middlesex County OPP say they were called to the intersection of Woodhull Rd. and Littlewood Church Dr. at around 5:30pm Wednesday after a garbage truck collided with a car.
Police say both of the drivers were rushed to the hospital with undisclosed injuries, adding that paramedics and firefighters also helped out at the scene.
Investigators say at this point, it appears the car failed to stop for a stop sign on Littlewood Church Dr.
The investigation is ongoing.
