Police, Fire Marshall Investigating Suspicious Fire

An investigation is underway after a fire in southwest London that is being called "suspicious."

Fire crews were called to an apartment complex at 675 Wonderland Rd. S around noon on Monday, August 27. When they arrived, black smoke could be seen coming from windows on the second floor. Firefighters were able to douse the flames and no injuries were reported. Damage is estimated at $25,000.

"The fire was deemed suspicious in nature," police said Tuesday. "The investigation is being conducted in cooperation with the London Fire Department and the Ontario Office of the Fire Marshall."
