Three Accused In Shooting Now Charged With Attempted Murder

Three men who were arrested and charged in connection to a shooting and break-in at a licensed marijuana growing facility in Norfolk County, are now facing more charges including attempted murder.

Police announced Friday night that David Lambert, 22, Brad Parks, 23, and Ryan Drabiuk, 23, all from St. Catharines, are now charged with attempted murder, disguise with intent, discharging a firearm with intent, unauthorized possession of a firearm, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, using a firearm while committing an offence, and two counts of assault with a weapon.

The charges stem from a break and enter at the marijuana facility on East Quarter Townline Rd. on Tuesday around 1:50am, that ended with a 49-year-old man being shot.  Police allege the victim, who was treated in hospital for serious non-life threatening injuries and later released, was targeted by the suspects.

The three suspects were arrested earlier this week and initially charged with aggravated assault, break and enter, and robbery.

Police say an investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
