Man charged in child pornography bust

Child pornography charges have been laid against a London man after police raided a home in the north end.

Officers with the Internet Child Exploitation Unit, with the assistance of the Digital Forensic Unit, searched the home on Stackhouse Cresent last Friday. A computer containing multiple images of suspected child sexual abuse was seized.

John Roland Clark, 61, is charged with two counts of unlawfully possessing child pornography and one count of unlawfully accessing child pornography.

He is scheduled to appear in London court to answer to the charges on October 22.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
