London women take back the night tonight

The annual Take Back the Night march and rally is set for Thursday night in London.

The event is held in cities around the world to protest sexual and gender-based violence against women, girls and gender-minorities.

London's rally begins at 5:30 p.m. with music and entertainment, speakers and a two kilometre walk.

Children are welcome to attend. The Women's Events Committsayee is once again asking men who wish to attend to support the marchers by encouraging them from the sidelines.
