St. Thomas drug investigation leads to dozens of arrests

Few details are available at this point, but St. Thomas police said they have just wrapped up the "largest drug project" in the service's history.

Police are expected to release more information at a news conference scheduled for Tuesday morning.

A release from St. Thomas police said a "significant" amount of drugs were seized, dozens of arrests were made, and nearly 100 total charges were laid.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
