Update: Sexual assault suspect arrested

London police have arrested a 28-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting, choking, and slapping a woman he met online.

Police began investigating the incident early Saturday morning after being called to an unspecified address in the city. According to police, the victim was slapped, choked, and sexually assaulted before she was able to get away.

Adam Dabrowski, 28, formerly of London was arrested early Tuesday morning in connection with the case and is set to appear in court on charges of sexual assault, overcoming resistance by attempting to choke, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

In the past, Dabrowski has used the names "Adaskio”, “El Hefe”, “LOL ATYOU”, and “Andre” on online dating sites.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
