Man charged with sexual exploitation

A 33-year-old dance instructor is accused of sending inappropriate messages to minors.

Ontario Provincial Police say they were called on Saturday morning to an address in Norfolk County for a report that sexually inappropriate messages were being sent to people under the age of 18.

After an investigation, Scott Robert MacDonald of Brantford is charged with sexual exploitation, two counts of making sexually explicit material available to minors, and indecent exposure to someone under the age of 16.

He is being held pending a bail hearing, set for Tuesday at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe.

These charges have yet to be proven in court.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
