Four arrested after shots fired

Only one man remains in custody, but four were arrested after a Saturday evening altercation on Trafalgar Street.

Police responded to a 911 shots-fired call just before 6 p.m.

Investigation revealed a fight had taken place, and a firearm was discharged several times.

Two men were arrested at the scene. A man with a gunshot wound and a woman were found nearby in a vehicle. The wound was minor and was treated in hospital. After an investigation, the male and female were also taken into custody.

The female and two of the males were not charged and released from custody. Charges are pending for the third male.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
