Police release photos of assault suspect

Police have released two photos from surveillance footage in an effort to identify a man wanted for an assault at a London bar.

The London Police Service said a male victim was punched in the face back on Monday, August 6 at Barneys Patio located at 671 Richmond St.

The victim suffered minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male between 30-35 years old, with a large build and dark hair. He was last seen wearing an Adidas baseball hat, a black t-shirt, pink shorts and flip-flops.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
