Dead kittens found in a shoebox

Norfolk OPP are investigating after two dead kittens were found in a shoebox in Charlotteville.

Police got a call just before 11:30 a.m. Thursday after a resident found the shoebox on the road in front of their home. When it was opened, two dead kittens that appeared to have suffered head trauma were found. Police said it appeared the kittens were about two months old.

Police are continuing to investigate and are seeking the public's assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
