Million-dollar winner sold in London area

If you played the Lotto Max game Friday night and bought your ticket in the London area, you may want to check it.

Ontario Lottery and Gaming says one of seven $1-million Maxmillions tickets was sold in London, though it was not disclosed immediately where the winning ticket was sold. The other $1-million winners from Friday night's draw were sold in Toronto, Mississauga, Sudbury, Woodbridge and the Burlington area.

A total of 16 Maxmillions winners from Friday were sold across Ontario, with prizes ranging from $250,000 to a million.

These winning tickets come as OLG prepares to offer a record payout in next Friday's Lotto Max draw, with $115-million in prizes up for grabs.

If you played Lotto Max Friday night, you can check your numbers by going to the Winning Numbers link on the official OLG website. If you think you have a winner, contact the OLG immediately.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
