London police searching for suspicious male

London police are searching for a man seen fleeing from a suspicious vehicle.

On Saturday, Oct. 20, London police responded to reports of a vehicle containing firearms and drugs.

As police arrived, the vehicle took off and headed eastbound out of the city.

OPP recovered the vehicle in Dorchester, Ont. after it collided with a hydro pole.

A black male, possibly in his early 20s, was seen fleeing from the car.

London police, the OPP emergency response team, and canine units searched Dorchester for the suspect. He was not located, and no firearms were located inside the vehicle.

Police say the investigation is in its early stages and no arrests have been made.

The street crime unit will be continuing to investigate.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
