Four charged in stolen property, drug bust

Three men and a woman are facing charges in connection with investigations into stolen property dating back four years.

London police said officers raided homes on Dale Street and Ashbury Avenue on Friday. They seized stolen items worth a total of $21,800, as well as over $19,000 worth of fentanyl and methamphetamine. The stolen property that was seized included two vehicles, a motorcycle, licence plates, and identification.

A 44-year-old man, a 39-year-old man, a 47-year-old man, and a 42-year-old woman are each charged with:

  • five counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • three counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • one count of possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
  • one count of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
  • one count of possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
  • one count of possession of dilaudid for the purpose of trafficking
  • one count of possession of hydromorph for the purpose of trafficking

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
