Oxford teen dies from crash injuries

An Oxford County teen severely hurt in a single-vehicle crash south of Tillsonburg earlier this week has died from her injuries.

Taylor Brooklyn Teichroeb-Friesen, 18, was heading south on Orange Hall Road in Norfolk County around 11:43 p.m. on Monday when her vehicle veered off the roadway. The vehicle went into the west ditch before ending up in the east ditch where it hit a tree.

Teichroeb-Friesen suffered serious life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a local hospital by paramedics. She was then airlifted to a London hospital.

The teen died from her injuries three days later, Norfolk OPP said in a news release Friday.

The crash closed Orange Hall Road between Plowman's Line and Colonel Talbot Rd for several hours.

The investigating into the cause of the collision is ongoing, police said.
