Suspects located in Forward Ave. incident

London police say two people have been arrested in connection with an incident on Forward Ave.

Officers had located a stolen pickup truck outside a home around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, and had information that indicated a firearm was associated with that vehicle. The emergency response unit was called in to help. Police finally obtained a warrant later Thursday evening, seizing the truck, a replica SKS firearm, several bicycles and a small motorcycle.

A warrant had been issued for a male and female, and police said Sunday afternoon that they were in custody.

Donald MacMillan, 26, of Ilderton, has been charged with two counts each of possession of stolen property and breach of probation. Chantalle Daw, 24, of London, is accused of failing to comply with recognizance.

Another male suspect was arrested Thursday in relation to an OPP investigation.

These charges have yet to be proven in court and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on this matter should call London police at (519) 661-5670. Anonymous tips should be submitted by phone to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submitted online.
