Police seek armed robbery suspect

London police are asking for the public's help tracking down a suspect after an armed robbery in the north end.

According to police, a man walked into a business in a shopping plaza on Wonderland Road North, near Gainsborough around 3 p.m. Thursday, pulled a gun, and demanded money from employees. The man then took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The male suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 5’7” tall, 175 pounds, between 20-30 years old, with a slim build, brown collar-length hair, a full beard, and a piercing in his lower lip. He was wearing a black baseball hat, black jacket, and black jogging pants.

The police street crime unit is continuing to investigate.
