Bouchard, Formenton, Foudy invited to Team Canada camp

Three members of the London Knights will have the chance to make Canada's team at the World Junior Hockey Championship.

Hockey Canada unveiled its list of invitees to the selection camp on Monday. Evan Bouchard, Alex Formenton, and Liam Foudy were among the total of 34 players that have been invited to the camp, which will be held December 11-14 in Victoria B.C.

“Our evaluation process through summer camp, the CHL season, Canada-Russia Series and now selection camp allows us to assess and assemble the top Canadian players to represent our country,” said Shawn Bullock, Hockey Canada’s director of men’s national teams. “Our final decisions will be difficult ones, but we couldn’t be more excited to gather in Victoria and begin the road to representing Canada in Vancouver.”

The roster will be cut down to the final 22 players after the camp. Those players will then compete in the World Junior Hockey Championship in Vancouver from December 26-January 5.
