Oxford OPP investigate crash involving 'numerous' injuries

One person has been taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash in South-West Oxford Township.

Oxford County OPP said two vehicles crashed at the intersection of Culloden Line and Ostrander Road, around noon on Sunday. One of the vehicles was headed south, while the other was eastbound.

An exact number hasn't been released, but police said "numerous" people were taken to hospital with injuries that range from minor to serious. One person suffered life-threatening injuries.

The road has been closed for several hours but is expected to re-open before midnight. In the meantime, technical collision investigators are still at the scene to find out what caused the collision.
