UPDATE: Police locate missing Port Dover woman

UPDATE: The OPP reported on Monday that  Lindsay Brown has been located and is safe. Police are thanking the public for its help.

Police are asking for the public's help in the search for a missing Port Dover woman.

The Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police said Wednesday that Lindsay Brown, 34, has not been seen or heard from since 7:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve. She was was leaving the Donjon Boulevard area of Port Dover.

Lindsay Brown is described as a Caucasian female, 5'9" tall, 135 pounds. She has long brown hair that is often worn up. She was last seen wearing a Khaki winter coat with fur around the hood, blue jeans, and black shoes.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
