Lightning fall to Express 108-100

The London Lightning lost their third game in a row, falling 108-100 to the Windsor Express on Friday.

It was a close game throughout with neither team pulling away from the other, but the Express pulled ahead far enough in the fourth quarter to secure the victory.

Chris Jones was the lead scorer for Windsor with 29 points and three rebounds, while Ryan Anderson put up 16 points. Juan Pattillo, Horace Wormely and Anthony Ottley Jr. all added 12 points each

Garrett Williamson led London with 29 points and four assists. AJ Gaines added another 16 points off the bench, while Maurice Bolden has  15 points and seven rebounds.

The London Lightning are in Sudbury on Sunday to battle the Five at 2 p.m.  And then on January 5, the Express are on the road to take on the KW Titans at 7 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
