East London LCBO suffers significant damage in break-in

The London Police Service is investigating after a vehicle was rammed into the front of an LCBO building during a break-and-enter.

The vehicle was driven into the front of the building in the Dundas St. E and Clarke Rd. area around 6:20 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers on the scene described significant damage to the building, but no sign anyone had been hurt.

The store's management confirmed some products had been taken during the break-in.

Investigators have been collecting evidence at the scene, but so far, police can not confirm how many suspects are responsible.

The London Police Street Crime Unit has taken over the investigation and asks anyone with information to call them at 519-661-5670, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or send a tip anonymously online.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
