Wal-Mart employee threatened during robbery

Strathroy-Caradoc police are trying to track down a suspect after an employee was threatened with a weapon during a robbery at the local Wal-Mart.

Officers were called to the store at 150 Carroll St. E around 6 p.m. on Sunday.

According to police, a man threatened a store employee with an unspecified weapon before taking off with over $2,000 worth of merchandise. All of the stolen goods were later found by police. It is believed the suspect dropped the items while making his getaway.

The suspect was last seen inside another local business shortly after the Wal-Mart robbery. He is described as Caucasian, 5'5" to 5'8" tall with a slim build and brown hair. While inside Wal-mart he was wearing a leather jacket and grey ball cap, which he no longer had on when spotted inside the second business.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
