Replica guns, drugs, ammo seized

Two London men face charges after officers seized replica firearms, ammunition, and drugs in a series of raids.

According to London police, around 5:15 p.m. Thursday, a vehicle was stopped on South Street near Wellington Street in relation to an ongoing investigation. One man was taken unto custody. Officers then raided homes on Albert Street, Josephine Street, and Dundas Street. Another man was arrested at the home on Albert Street.

Police seized 32 grams of Fentanyl, 36 grams of cocaine, $1,000 in cash, 34 rounds of ammunition, a taser, three replica handguns, and three replica rifles. Police estimate the street value of the drugs to be over $17,000.

Two London men, 32-year-old James Daniel Moody and 38-year-old Donavan Bruce, face drug and firearms charges.

Both were to appear in court Friday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
