Suspects in LCBO break-in identified

London Police are thanking the public for its role in helping to identify two suspects in a New Year's Day break and enter at an east London LCBO store.

According to police, a car was rammed into the front of the 348 Clarke Rd. LCBO location, causing an estimated $100,000 in damage.

Two suspects have been identified in relation to the incident.

Deon Elijah Smith, 18, of London has been charged with breaking and entering, possession of property obtained by a crime, and two counts of breach of recognizance.

Phoenix Hunter Lorne Fisher, 21, of no fixed address has been charged by way of a warrant with breaking and entering and possession of property obtained by crime.

"It's unfortunate that so much damage was caused for what was in essence, a theft of only a handful of items,” said Detective Sergeant Ryan Scrivens of the London Police Service Street Crime Unit. “We are pleased with the outpouring of information provided by members of our community."

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Phoenix Fisher is asked to contact police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
