OPP trying to solve comic caper in Tillsonburg

Provincial police in Oxford County are searching for someone who stole hundreds of collector comic books.

Investigators said someone broke into a storage unit at a Moose Street address in Tillsonburg and took between 200 and 300 comic books along with a very distinctive ten-inch metal slot machine. Police believe the break and enter happened between 8:20 p.m. on Sunday and 10:30 p.m. on Monday. The comic books are X-Men, Batman, Superman, Twilight Zone, G.I. Combat and Ghost Rider. The items are valued at approximately $3,500.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
