A 63-year-old man is dead after being struck by a vehicle while on a mobility scooter in southwest London.
The man was trying to get across Commissioners Road West near Wonderland Road South when the collision happened around 2 p.m. Friday. He was rushed to hospital with serious injuries where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.
London police are investigating the cause of the collision.
"Collision reconstruction is on scene and they will try to piece together everything that occurred," said Constable J.P. Loberto.
Commissioners Road between Topping Lane and Wonderland Road was closed for several hours as police investigated.
