The incident happened around 9 p.m. at the Daisy Mart on Commissioners Road West.
According to police, one person is facing non-life threatening injuries. They have not released the type of weapon that was used in the robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male, 6’1″, wearing grey pants, a red sweater, and a black coat.
Local runners will lace up this weekend in support of cancer research.

A meet the candidates night is planned on Monday, September 21 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Maawn Doosh Gumig Community and Youth Centre.
The series will bring both aspiring and established business owners together on Tuesday evenings at the Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Centre.
Gates for the three-day fair will open at the Wyoming Fair Grounds on Main Street on Friday, September 18, at 5 p.m., with opening ceremonies beginning at 7 p.m.
