Knights defeat Spitfires 5-0

The London Knights have taken a 2-0 lead in their opening round playoff series against Windsor.

The Knights defeated the Spitfires 5-0 in Game 2 on Sunday. Nathan Dunkley led the way for the Knights with two goals in the first period.

After a scoreless second period, Connor McMicheal made it 3-0 for the Knights just 23 seconds into the third period. Two goals from Cole Tymkin gave the Knights a 5-0 lead. Knights goaltender Jordan Kooy saved all 15 shots on net, while Spitfires goaltender Colton Incze saved 32 out of the 37 shots on net.

The series now shifts to Windsor for Game 3 on Tuesday night.
