Police seeking robbery suspect

London police are asking for the public's help as they try to identify a suspect in a convenience store robbery.

Police say around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, a man walked into a convenience store in the area of Gainsborough Road and Wonderland Road and assaulted a staff member before taking off with some merchandise.

The suspect, pictured above and below, is described as a white male, in his 30s, medium height, with a medium build, a dark beard, and a tattoo on the right side of his neck. He was wearing a New York Yankees hat and a black zip-up sweater.

Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to www.londoncrimestoppers.com.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
