The drug is described as green or blue and is extremely toxic.
Because of its ability to cause immediate overdoses, the Woodstock police are now alerting residences to be aware of the issue in the community.
Police are also asking residents to contact 911 immediately if an overdose situation is suspected.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
