Update: Boating ban lifted

London police say a boating ban on the Thames River and on all waterways in the city has been lifted.

The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority notified the police Sunday that water levels in the Thames River had reached a hazardous point and were expected to remain high through the weekend.

This boating ban was lifted Monday morning.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
