Lightning beat Express in regular season finale

A well balanced offence led the London Lightning to a 126-114 win over Windsor in their final regular season game of the 2018-2019 season.

Seven Lightning players reached double digits in points in the playoff tune-up at Budweiser Gardens on Sunday afternoon. Garret Williamson led the Lightning with 21 points, while AJ Gaines had 20. Marcus Capers had a double double for London, with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

For the Express, Juan Pattillo had 22 points, while Ryan Anderson chipped in 20 in the team's final game of the season. The Express missed the playoffs for the first time.

The Lightning will open the playoffs against Kitchener. Although dates have not yet been announced, the first two games will be at Budweiser Gardens by virtue of the Lightning finishing atop the Central Division.
