Slowdowns on Hwy. 402 after truck rollover spills paint

Drivers experienced delays on the eastbound Highway 402 near Strathroy after a transport truck rolled over on the highway early Thursday morning.

Middlesex County OPP said they got the call at around 5:40 a.m. Thursday after a commercial motor vehicle rolled over near Centre Road, causing approximately 6,000 pounds of paint to spill near the roadway.

The Ministry of the Environment was notified and a clean-up began. Police announced around 1:30 p.m. that the clean-up was complete and all lanes were open.
