Pedestrian critically injured after being struck by vehicle

A pedestrian was rushed to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in London.

The London Police Service said on Tuesday around 8:52 p.m., emergency crews were called to the intersection of Horton Street and Colborne Street after a man was hit by a vehicle.

Initially, police said the 34-year-old man suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries. On Wednesday, police said he is in hospital in critical, but stable condition.

The intersection was closed for several hours.

Police said the crash remains under investigation and it is unknown at this time if any charges will be laid.
